As working professionals, education has to fit into your life. Flexibility isn’t only about convenience; it’s about relevance and balance too – between work, career and family. That is why our learning methodology involves having all lectures, class discussions and group projects taking place in our unique online learning environment. We call this the ‘asynchronous classroom’, because it is always open and you can study any time of the day, from anywhere in the world, whether you are flying out on business or on holiday with your family.

When you study alongside experienced professionals from over 175 countries, you don’t just grow professionally, you also grow personally. Deadlines are tight and assignments demanding, but our Master degree students find studying online a life-changing experience that provides direct career benefits and a network of valuable, international contacts that serves them for years.

Maha Abdul Hameed Al Nasser and Feras Fadel Al Jabi are among the 442 other professionals from the UAE who are continuing to reap the benefits of an online education.

Humble beginnings

In the summer of 2008, Maha Abdul Hameed Al Nasser mounted the stage of the Liverpool’s imposing Philharmonic Hall and received her Master’s degree from the Vice Chancellor of the University of Liverpool. As she held her degree, thinking back on her three-year journey as an online student, little did Maha know what was running through her husband Feras Fadel Al Jabi’s mind. Watching proudly from the crowd, he was now more convinced than ever to sign up for a Master in Business Administration with the University of Liverpool. Feras’ decision to start the programme online was well considered. Click here to read their story.
